Abstract:	A primeira premissa desse ensaio consiste no entendimento de que a visão e a imagem ruskinianas da pátina do tempo, dentro da perspectiva do ruinismo, servem de decalque à visão de Proust, e lhe permitirão amadurecer e reorientar seu trabalho de escritor. O ruinismo e a pátina do tempo não são meros suportes a temas do decadentismo em voga; são pressupostos estético-filosóficos apropriados e desenvolvidos – e transubstanciados – por Proust. A segunda premissa desse ensaio é a importância da visão dos dois caminhos, como entendidos por Ruskin.
Abstract:	The first premise of this essay is the understanding that the Ruskinian vision and image of the patina of time, within the perspective of ruinism, serve as a decal to Proust's view, and will allow him to mature and reorient his work as a writer. Ruinism and the patina of time are not mere supports to themes of decadence in vogue; Are appropriated aesthetic-philosophical assumptions and developed - and transubstantiated - by Proust. The second premise of this essay is the importance of the two-way view, as understood by Ruskin.
