| Abstract: | O trabalho consiste em abordar as reflexões sobre o ponto de vista participativo das comunidades em projetos urbanos em favelas e a questão do desenho urbano espontâneo deses espaços. Partindo dessa perspectiva, o conceito de espaço-movimento de Paola Jacques é o pano de fundo para elucidar a problemática das favelas e suas peculiaridades, distintas da cidade dita formal. Assim, os capítulos tratam de premissas teóricas e práticas a respeito do urbanismo, projeto urbano e a realidade urbana das cidades, considerando as favelas decorrência do processo de segregação socioespacial o qual as cidades contemporâneas vivenciam. |
| Abstract: | The work consists of addressing the reflections on the participatory view of communities in urban projects in favelas and the question of spontaneous urban design in these spaces. From this perspective, Paola Jacques's concept of space-movement is the background to elucidate the problems of the favelas and their peculiarities, distinct from the so-called formal city. Thus, the chapters deal with theoretical and practical premises regarding urban planning, urban design and the urban reality of cities, considering the favelas as a consequence of the process of socio-spatial segregation that contemporary cities experience. |
