Abstract:	O trabalho tem como objetivo a análise dos conflitos ambientais socioambientais gerados no município de Itaboraí (RJ) a partir do processo de implementação do Complexo Petroquímico do Rio de Janeiro - COMPERJ. Observa-se, desde o anúncio da escolha do município para sediar o empreendimento em 2006, uma série de alterações que passam a configurá-lo enquanto arena de debates. O trabalho aponta para um questionamento sobre o diálogo estabelecido entre a sociedade civil e a Petrobras, através da investigação do Plano de Relacionamento COMPERJ.
Abstract:	The objective of this work is to analyze the socioenvironmental environmental conflicts generated in the city of Itaboraí (RJ) from the implementation process of the Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex - COMPERJ. It is observed from the announcement of the choice of the municipality to host the project in 2006 a series of changes that come to configure it as a debate arena. The paper points to a questioning about the dialogue established between civil society and Petrobras, through the investigation of the COMPERJ Relationship Plan.
