Reflecting about the view we go for comprehending their transformations. The dynamic nature of these stories allows adaptations and readings that make them suitable to the Historic context they are connected to. Women representation and marriage dimension, connected to the happiness myth, come across that dynamism, being modified along times. Contemporary authors search new happy endings when they try to compact to new values. We try to confirm the importance of Ana Maria Machado, Ruth Rocha and Sylvia Orthof as significant names of new literature for Brazilian young people. Title: Recursos Linguístico-expressivos da obra infanto-juvenil de Ana Maria Machado Author(s)/Inventor(s): Pereira, Maria Teresa Gonçalves Advisor: Oliveira, Célia Therezinha Guidão da Veiga Abstract: This dissertation is concerned with the playful and innovative aspect of Ana Maria Machado´s books for children and adolescents and aims to identify and analyse the linguistic processes used by the writer to give shape and expressive force to the fictional universe created by her. A stylistic approach has been adopted, with a new to examining the texts in their phonic, morphe-lexical, lexico-semantic and syntactic aspects, interrelating them with the basic meanings of the texts and with the special approach given to the stories told. By means of a survey and analysis of the linguistic-expressive resources that characterize Ana Maria Machado’s style, an attempt is made, in the last analysis, to highlight the importance of contemporary Brazilian literature for children and adolescents, showing the level of expression attained by the genre through the study of the work of one of its most distinguished representatives.; La présente these a pour but l' étude ludique et rénovatrice de l' oeuvre de littérature de jeunesse d' Ana Maria Machado et cherche à faire ressortir et à analyser les processus linguistiques employés par l' auteur pour donner une forme et une force expressive à l' univers de fiction engendré par celui-ci. L' approche du style a été choisie pour examiner les textes sous leurs aspects phoniques ,morpholexiques , lexicosémantiques et syntaxiques en rapportant ces aspects aux significations nucléaires des textes et au point de vue particulier des histoires narrées. A l' aide d' une relevé et d' une analyse des ressources linguistico-expressives qui caractérisent le style d' Ana Maria Machado, on cherchera, en dernière analyse, à mettre en valeur la littérature de jeunesse au niveau où se trouve l' expression de cette forme de littérature, par l' étude de l' oeuvre d' une de ses représentantes les plus légitimes. Title: Perfil do leitor colonial Author(s)/Inventor(s): Araújo, Jorge de Souza Advisor: Teles, Gilberto Mendonça Abstract: The profile of tendencies and characteristics of reading in colonial Brazil, emphasizing the interest provoked by works of prose and poetry in reading habits, constituted an imperative study in the area of Letters, with a view to preserving the national memory under the angle of literary culture. In an attempt to supply analysis and description elements of the colonial reader by means of the itemized list of books, included as goods in period inventories, since the seventeenth through the nineteenth century, this work is the result of research conducted all over the country to establish a safe register of options and stylistic tastes developed by the Brazilian reader, especially in what refers to literary works.; Il s'agit d'une étude fondamentale dans le domaine des Lettres, surtout si l'on prend en considération la récupération de la mémoire naturale dans l'esprit de la culture bibliographique. On a établit un profil des tendences et des caractéristiques de la lecture au Brésil à l' époque coloniale, en particulier l' intérét des lecteurs vis-à-vis certaines oeuvres em prose et en vers. On a fournit des l' éléments pour l' analyse et description du lecteur colonial, d'après la notation discriminée des livres inscrits comme des biens dans les inventaires de l' époque, dupuis le XVII ème siècle jusqu'au XIX ème. Ce travail est le résultat des recherches realisées dans tout le pays, pour établir un cadre bien défini des options de lecture et des goûts stylistiques developpés par le lecteur brésilien, en particulier en ce qui concerne les oeuvres littéraires.
