Abstract: The advancement of oncological therapies has provided greater survival for young cancer patients, making it essential to consider aspects related to long-term quality of life, including fertility preservation. In this context, reproductive counseling becomes an essential practice, especially in light of the psychological impacts that arise from the diagnosis and
oncological treatment. This article aims to discuss the importance of reproductive counseling in comprehensive oncological care, focusing on the subjective and emotional developments experienced by young patients in the face of the possibility of infertility. The role of the psychologist is highlighted as fundamental in providing qualified listening, supporting anxieties
related to reproductive futures, and mediating internal conflicts concerning parental plans. In oncofertility, psychology contributes to supporting decision-making regarding fertility preservation strategies, considering the uniqueness of each patient. It is concluded that the interdisciplinary approach and the awareness of health teams are crucial for the implementation of comprehensive, ethical, and humanized

Abstract: Professional health training curricula define the expected content, skills, and competencies required to legitimize the practice of health professionals. These are defined by socially competing forces and disputes and express a field of curricular policy definitions at different levels, which Stephen Ball defines as contexts of influence, production, and practice. This study investigated the shifts in meaning between the distinct contexts categorized above in establishing
the requirements for medical professionals, identifying the competencies and skills expected at the end of the curricular pathways for undergraduate medical programs in contemporary times, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. To this end, Creswell's documentary analysis was used, using documents as the primary research source and yet the Gil's analytical approach. The research was primarily based on two analytical corpus: a) the curricular guidelines for undergraduate medical programs issued in 2014, recommended by the Brazilian Ministry of Education; and b) the pedagogical projects and curricular frameworks of public and private higher education institutions in the state of Rio de Janeiro recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education for the training of medical professionals, which had active status and was freely available on the World Wide Web on their official institutional websites. The analyses indicated the predominance of a market-driven logic in medical training curricula with a technocratic clinical diagnostic approach; a culture of performativity and a shift toward self-accountability for undergraduates' own medical training; and an early onset of in-service medical practice disconnected from discussions in the field of epidemiology and the Brazilian State's public health policie

Abstract: he study addresses the importance of healthcare in the first thousand days of life, a period spanning from conception to the first two years of age, considered essential for a child's comprehensive development. Through an integrative literature review, we sought to analyze care related to nutrition, maternal and child health, and public policies aimed at health promotion and prevention. The research was conducted in renowned databases such as Scielo, PubMed, and BVS, considering publications between 2010 and 2025, in Portuguese and English. The PICO strategy guided the development of the research question: What are the most effective healthcare practices during the first thousand days of life and how do they impact children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development? Factors that directly impact children's cognitive, motor, and immunological development were identified, as well as the need for effective public policies to mitigate social inequalities and promote breastfeeding. The results reinforce the role of public health in building solid foundations that impact child development.

Abstract: Maternity is an experience influenced by historical, social, and cultural factors, as well as by individual and subjective aspects. This scenario becomes even more delicate when crossed by perinatal loss. Although relatively frequent throughout the reproductive cycle, this type of loss carries specific psychological and social implications, yet it remains socially unrecognized. This study aimed to understand the psychosocial repercussions of perinatal loss among women who had experienced at least one previous loss before their current pregnancy, as well as to explore the meanings attributed to the process of elaborating this experience.A qualitative approach with a descriptive and exploratory design was adopted, and the data were analyzed using Content Analysis. Data collection was carried out through semi structured interviews with nine women receiving prenatal care at a maternity hospital affiliated with a public university (UFRJ). From the analysis of the results, it was observed that gestational loss causes profound psychological and emotional repercussions in women, manifesting in an intense and lasting manner. The investigation revealed that the experience of loss goes far beyond the physical event,
being marked by feelings of pain, shock, frustration, guilt, and fear, which often persist over time and directly influence future pregnancies, mental health, and the subjective construction of motherhood.
