The theme of this audiovisual material is scientific dissemination for children. This video is an animation published on the YouTube® Channel “O maravilha pontinho azul” and this AD proposal is the beginning of a series of measures in search of greater accessibility in this digital space. The video specifically deals with the concept of proteins, in a playful and interesting way for children. The participation of an AD consultant was sought to construct the script in question. Part of the script was discussed and analyzed from a technical and theoretical point of view by the author of this article, due to her expertise in the central subject. Finally, considering the importance of the right of children with visual impairment, other disabilities and also with specific educational needs, to also have access to their scientific content, it is believed that the AD will make the content presented available in a broader and more accessible way to the child audience.
