This dissertation aims to document and complement a project to rescue the architectural evolution of a historic building, through a set of models and digital reconstructions of the São Cristóvão Palace from 1808 to 1888. This project began from 2016 to 2018 at the Technical Office of the National Museum/UFRJ. In the continuation of this project, the aim is to complement the entire evolution of the Palace by including the phases from the 20th century to the 1940s. In this second stage, the research is improved based on more advanced exploratory research, following the principle of scientific rigor, based on primary sources, articles, dissertations and master's and doctoral theses, in addition to physical equipment (hardware and software) with superior performance. The result of this step are images of better quality and veracity compared to reality, a desirable objective in the process of digital reconstruction. These results are not yet ideal, however, they can be improved in future versions. Our primary goal is to present the latest findings on the historical role of garum in the Roman West by offering a multidisciplinary analysis of the immense amount of data generated on the subject in recent decades. We seek to change the conventional notion that garum consumption was reserved for the elites by presenting literary and archaeological evidence that proves the product was a multiplex technological and commercial phenomenon serving as a source of low-cost protein for the Roman people, packaged and shipped over long distances inside amphorae—at the centre of a historical process that continues to the present day. This will be our point of departure in challenging Finley's minimalist theories about the ancient economy. The total citations analyzed only 21,289 citations were used to calculate the life-half: 16 references were incomplete, mentioning only the author and title and 541 were without publication date, therefore not considered in the calculation. The result revealed that the literature of Education has life-half of 19 years, ie, a literature that is somewhat older, but does not disappear. It is used in historical research which can be confirmed with the presence of citations to older material, eg, 1 citation XVIII (1786) and 68 of the nineteenth century (1824-1898) century. As can be seen from the total of 150 theses analyzed, only 44 is available online, equivalent to 29.33% of this scientific production, a significant demand for this area of knowledge. It was evident that the number of doctoral students who cite their own publications equals the number who cite their advisors, with different amount of works cited, falling mostly in the work of counselors. One can prove through this research that the preferred channel of educators are books. As for the methodological procedure, a Bibliometric technique was used to analyze citations, an area of Information Science (CI), based on the work of Marshakova (1981), a qualitative-quantitative and bibliographical research, a descriptive research method, and a transversal cut. The objective was to investigate and analyze the productivity and popularity of authors in the area of Education in the light of CI. Through this research it was also possible to identify characteristics and particularities of the studied area when comparing the set of descriptors / keywords used by the authors in their articles to show the problems faced by this community in their countries. We analyzed 14,346 citations found in 460 journal articles. For productivity, 891 authors were investigated, of which, 201 published individually and 690 in coauthoring, a current practice in science. The relative popularity was calculated on 6,486 authors, who obtained a total of 225 most cited authors in works of other researchers. The data revealed that the authors' preferred channel in Brazil and Portugal are the books and in the UK the scientific journal.
