Abstract: This research analyzes a platform cooperativism working model, based on a case study of the experience developed by the National Federation of Urban Mobility and Passenger Transport Cooperatives (Liga Coop), as a counterpoint to the model established by traditional digital mobility platforms, in the specific case of app drivers. To this end, we approach the phenomenon of the platformization of work in order to discuss its repercussions in the labor field, as well as a brief analysis of the process of regulating mobility apps in Brazil. Based on this reflection, we analyze the structure of the work model idealized by Liga-Coop and its&#xD;
development in the context of the regions covered. In this sense, we investigate the actions promoted by the federation and its associated cooperatives through collective work, whose proposal is to offer improvements to its members in terms of well-being, decent income, and quality of life. From this perspective, we sought to evaluate the advances and challenges faced by Liga Coop in implementing this work model as a means of minimizing the harmful effects inherent in the logic of extractive platforms, through the combination of Solidarity Economy practices with the principles of platform cooperativism in everyday actions. Furthermore, it was&#xD;
possible to verify that the federation's purposes are based on the use of its own socio-technical artifact, with the objective of valuing workers, in material and human terms, in addition to promoting autonomy, collaboration, and solidarity. Nevertheless, it was possible to identify the limitations encountered in the implementation of this model, mainly in financial terms, but also in terms of the difficulty of demonstrating its potential to workers, since this involves the ability to persuade and raise awareness.

Abstract: Since the 2020 pandemic, remote programming courses for youth and adults have become increasingly popular, such as the Python introductory course offered by LIpE at UFRJ, which originally followed a face-to-face model. However, the distance education (DE) format can easily reproduce the concept of "banking education", leading to low interaction and high dropout rates. This dissertation analyzes the implementation of&#xD;
popular education practices and active learning methodologies in the course, based on the contributions of Paulo Freire and bell hooks, which aim to value students' prior knowledge and promote active participation, critical reflection, and social transformation. The research was conducted through action research methodology, involving the active participation of students, monitors, and coordinators, resulting in the collaborative design,&#xD;
implementation, and evaluation of pedagogical strategies. The changes implemented in 2024 and 2025, including a revised schedule, use of interactive tools, and the introduction of new content such as "Technology and Society", demonstrated formative potential for both students and monitors. Although these interventions did not significantly reduce dropout rates or extend reach beyond the Rio de Janeiro region, they proved valuable for the participants who completed the course. The findings of this dissertation are presented throughout the text and will be submitted to LIpE, with the aim of contributing to the ongoing improvement of the course and reinforcing its proposal for a more critical, inclusive, and transformative distance education.

Abstract: This dissertation aims to contribute due to understanding of the term Amazonizar and to critical analyses through the approximation of Amazonic Themes at the Technology Center (CT) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and at the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Development (NIDES). The proposal was forwarded in the line of research Work and Polytechnic Education and coordinated in the Multimedia Education Group (GEM), having a participatory and collaborative perspective with the intention of involving Popular&#xD;
Knowledge from the Amazon, through the curation of the Memory and Culture of Pará’s Carimbó in Rio de Janeiro. The work presents Systematizations of Experiences when navigating through Research-Teaching-Extension practices in Guanabara, based on the interview with Masters of Popular Culture of Carimbó, during the meeting at the X Pan-Amazonian Social Forum (FOSPA) in Ananindeua, Metropolitan Region of Belém do&#xD;
Pará, resulting in Educational Workshops and Audiovisual Products for the construction of interdisciplinary and multimedia content, intertwining Amazonic Studies and Academic-Scientific-Popular Thought for Social and Environmental Development.

      <title>A lavanderia comunitária do morro do Borel e o debate sobre racismo ambiental e lutas comunitárias em contextos urbanos</title>

Abstract: The favelas of Rio de Janeiro possess a significant historical trajectory, rooted primarily in the agency, resilience, and protagonism of their residents. Life within these territories is characterized by a high degree of intelligence, wisdom, strategic organization, and grassroots movements that generate effective solutions for housing and the pursuit of rights and services aimed at fostering dignified living conditions. Initiatives originating from within the community tend to reach the favelas more rapidly and effectively, as they emerge from collective organization and mobilize a range of social actors, engaging them in struggles that seek to ensure equitable access for all. Within this context, the Community Laundry is presented as a social innovation conceived by a community leader from Morro do Borel. It was designed to serve approximately one hundred women heads of&#xD;
household—representing nearly one-third of the population in the Indiana sub-community—by ensuring access to clean and treated water, a universal right enshrined in the Brazilian Constitution but historically overlooked during the initial occupation of the favelas in the early 20th century. The history of the Borel Community Laundry invites critical reflection on the role of favelas as contemporary expressions of urban quilombos and as spaces that highlight both the absence of state intervention and the structural presence of environmental racism. For decades, this form of racism has shaped narratives that legitimized segregationist policies and framed favela&#xD;
residents as “illegal” occupants of their own territories. Through the life story of Ana Márcia—a community leader born and raised in Morro do Borel—this study offers a compelling analysis grounded in methodologies such as life history. It situates the favela itself as a central analytical site and is supported by secondary data that construct a popular narrative of how residents actively shape and lead efforts toward dignified living. The study reconfigures the timeline of these struggles to expose the persistent absence of public policy and to underscore that favela residents are not passive beneficiaries of rights, but rather active and organized claimants of justice and equity.
