      <description>Title: Responsabilidade social na Energisa: o que se faz em relação ao que se diz fazer
Author(s)/Inventor(s): Santos, Suely Porfirio dos
Advisor: Coli, Luis Régis
Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the socio-cultural-environmental discourse of Energisa, an energy concessionaire that operates in Paraíba and other states of the country. The intention of the article is to make a relation between the "politically responsible" discourse of the company and its performance in Paraíba. The idea is to see if what Energisa says to do is equivalent to its practices in the communities.&#xD;
In recent years, several companies have included social responsibility projects in their range of actions. It is a way corporations use to approach society and improve public image. In this sense, adopting crèches, providing school meals, building squares (...), are commonly adopted measures to symbolize social responsibility.

Abstract: This article seeks to analyze the Federal Government 's project to transform the Eletrobrás System1, aiming at expressive gain in business efficiency, and to verify if said project, in the political dispute regarding the electric sector, strengthens the conception of market hegemony or the conception of control In the same sense, it seeks to verify if the transformations intended for the Eletrobrás System have the prospect of strengthening it as a public company or, on the other hand, are aimed at making Eletrobrás a major player in the world electric energy market. From this analysis, the article aims to identify the position of the other political forces in relation to the project of transformation of Eletrobrás and to design the scenario and the possibilities of construction of a project for the sector that serves the interests of the working class.

Abstract: This work is the result of a conjunctural and historical need of MAB women: conjunctural for our need to organize women within the MAB strategy, and also a historical task for the participation and liberation of women with the end of the oppression of patriarchy and capitalist system. Another issue is the perception of the tactics and the importance of discussing women and energy within the MAB and the struggles of Via Campesina. The debate is in the conjuncture and we need to respond, make the fight a strong organization fight, and make the confrontation, ensuring the construction of a new energy model. The text also discusses the losses of many people as a result of dam constructions, and points out how many transformations resulting from these projects affect women in a differentiated way, aggravating preexisting gender inequalities - almost always ignored or invisible

Abstract: Outsourcing is a phenomenon that was already happening in ancient Europe, traders distributed wool and tools to the peasants to manufacture the goods in their homes, received for work and returned the merchandise ready to be marketed. Many years passed and this outsourcing did not harm the workers and society. With the productive restructuring or liberal reform that took place in much of the world, outsourcing has taken on proportions of an epidemic that contaminates the world of work. Its effects are felt mainly in the electric sector where it leaves deep psychological sequels, mutilates and kills. DIEESE (2010) shows that outsourced workers are the most vulnerable to fatal accidents in the electricity sector. To understand this phenomenon is necessary to know the bowels of this productive restructuring of neoliberalism and its social consequences in the country and more specifically in the electric sector. Several aspects are included in this context, globalization, technological innovation, shareholders that influence the management of companies, etc. Understanding the functioning of modern capitalism is also necessary for understanding the dynamics of the market, from profit to profit. It is known that space is limited and not everything can be detailed, but much reference described in this work may help in future research to better understand the themes. We give a brief notion of neoliberal changes in the opinion of authors who unveil the real interest in this privationist policy and the dismantling of the working class. Of the ills left by where neoliberalism has passed mainly in Brazil and in the electric sector.
