Title: Uso da inteligência artificial para suporte emocional: uma análise das práticas informacionais e da competência em informação
Author(s)/Inventor(s): Ramos, Marília Cossich
Abstract: Problem: This study examines how the growing use of artificial intelligence for emotional support is establishing new ways of dealing with information. It also identifies the motivations and challenges associated with this practice. Objective:To analyze the relationship between information practices and information literacy in the context of artificial intelligence for emotional support. Methodology: This is a descriptive and exploratory study based on a literature review conducted in the Brapci database. Content analysis was used to organize and interpret the selected literature. Results: Features such as accessibility, constant availability, and the absence of judgment encourage the use of these technologies. On the other hand, technical limitations, algorithmic biases, privacy risks, and the lack of critical information literacy emerge as significant challenges. The findings indicate that AI-mediated emotional support is an emerging information practice, closely related to the concept of sense-making, as users turn to digital tools to fill emotional gaps. Conclusions: Information literacy is essential for promoting the critical, ethical, and safe use of artificial intelligence, particularly in contexts of emotional vulnerability.

The project arose from the necessity to make available for the scientific community, the retrospective periodical collection. Thus, it was necessary to check the reality of the bookshelves with existing information in the database Acervo On-line library collection and in the national collective catalogs described in this study.

Abstract: Social media has changed people's lives and become regular in our lives. Influential voices are either to promote a product, a service, or just to keep up with the latest news. These online digital elements open up a good number of opportunities for libraries. Using social tools libraries can strengthen the relationship between their users / clients. Digital social networks can bring library products and services to thousands of different users / customers, regardless of geographic location. Thus, with the awareness that every library has the duty to serve two (2) types of users: face-to-face and remote, the university library of the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning and Research (IPPUR) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro ( UFRJ) - IPPUR Library/UFRJ - created the IPPUR 2.0 Library Project - a digital reference service that has its products and services directed to information and education of users/clients. Thus, the library instituted in its day to day work the digital social networks: Blogs, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. However, it is important and necessary to plan and justify the deployment and use of 2.0 technologies in libraries. Therefore, one should also be alert to metrics and monitoring. This work seeks to guide other libraries and information professionals the creation, maintenance, metrics and monitoring from a literature review on the subject and in conjunction with experiences consolidated by years of use of these online social resources.

Pra lá de Teerã: crise do petróleo e transição energética

Title: Pra lá de Teerã: crise do petróleo e transição energética
Author(s)/Inventor(s): Young, Carlos Eduardo Frickmann
Abstract: The article argues that the more unstable the geopolitics of oil become, the more rational it is to invest in domestic renewable energy sources. Therefore, although the Gulf War drove up oil prices, instability and scarcity are prompting oil importers to accelerate their demand for renewable energy and seek to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels. Consequently, the energy transition has become a matter of national security, macroeconomic stability, and sovereignty.
