This is done without losing sight of the fact that the focus is on using Kantian philosophy to inquire about contemporary problems. The guiding thread of the entire work is to understand how cosmopolitan philosophy can help us with the problems of an increasingly interconnected world and how the issues that were pertinent to Kant in the 18th century can help us solve our current problems. The main objective is to demonstrate how the question of the meaning of being and the inquiry into the essence of truth converge on the same originary phenomenon: the disclosedness of the entity that we ourselves are, designated as Dasein. Methodologically, the research adopts hermeneutic phenomenology to deconstruct the metaphysical tradition — rooted in Plato and Aristotle — which fixated the understanding of being in the entity of the entity (as transcendent idea or constant substance) and primarily consolidated truth as the adequation of the intellect to the thing in propositional judgment (adaequatio intellectus et rei). The study is structured around four analytical axes: (1) the historical diagnosis of the forgetting of being and its unfolding in ancient ontology; (2) the originary appropriation of the concepts of phenomenon and logos, demonstrating that ontology is only possible as phenomenology; (3) the existential analytic, which describes Dasein as being-in-the-world, revealing the pre-theoretical dimension of readiness-to-hand and the structural constitution of disclosedness through disposition (state-of-mind), understanding, and discourse; and (4) the elucidation of §44, where truth is led back to unconcealment (ἀλήθεια). It concludes that the theoretical proposition is a derived mode of access to the entity and that originary truth is a mode of being of Dasein itself. This dynamic is attested by an agonistic and structural tension, in which unconcealment occurs cooriginarily with concealment — that is, Dasein is, constitutively, in truth and untruth. It is argued, therefore, that being and truth co-belong insofar as there is truth only as long as Dasein is. Although The Origin of the Work of Art (1935/36) is fundamental, Heidegger progressively distances himself from this initial perspective, recognizing that modern art faces an era radically distinct from the Greek, marked by the absence of the gods and the dominance of technology. Influenced by Hölderlin, the philosopher abandons the "Grecocentric" view by understanding that contemporary art cannot configure historical worlds as Greek art did, having to fulfill another task. This transformation brings him closer to modern artists such as Klee, Cézanne, Chillida, and Heiliger, whose works preserve the mystery of being in a manner appropriate to modernity. The way we understand or narrate the sequence of historical events that occurred in this country represents an ideological falsification. There was no colonization in Brazil, there was a war of enslavement against black people. Abolition may have represented the end of slavery, however not the end of the war against black people, which has turned into persecution. These two wars caused severe harm to black people living in the country. That harm is unjust and must be repaired, in a specifically and assertive way, which is interrupting what it represents: social inferiority, misery and suffering of the black Brazilians.
