| Abstract: | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo refletir criticamente sobre o atual modelo de produção capitalista do espaço urbano. Através da análise das transformações territoriais ocorridas na Praia do Paiva, localizada na região metropolitana da cidade do Recife, com a implantação do Complexo Imobiliário Residencial e de Serviços. Diante disso busca-se colaborar com o desenvolvimento de um pensamento crítico a respeito do direito à cidade e fortalecer mecanismos de luta que atuem na construção de uma nova estrutura urbana justa, democrática e cidadã. |
| Abstract: | The present work aims to reflect critically on the current model of capitalist production of urban space. Based on the analysis of the territorial transformations that took place in Praia do Paiva, located in the metropolitan area of the city of Recife, with the implementation of the Residential and Services Real Estate Complex. In this way, we seek to collaborate with the development of critical thinking about the right to the city and to strengthen mechanisms of struggle that work in the construction of a new, just, democratic and citizen urban structure. |
