Abstract:	O seguinte trabalho busca a interpretação dos significados atribuídos às paisagens da Lagoa de Araruama (RJ) pelos diferentes agentes sociais que a partir dela relacionam se, com o objetivo de identificar os elementos que a constituem e ao mesmo tempo que atravessam um processo de transformação, assim como os conflitos que envolvem tais mudanças.
Abstract:	The following work seeks the interpretation of the meanings attributed to the landscapes of the Lagoa de Araruama (RJ) by the different social agents that from it relate, with the objective of identifying the elements that constitute it and at the same time that they undergo a process of transformation, as well as the conflicts surrounding such changes.
