| Abstract: | O livro apresenta teorias feministas e as diversas implicações da sociedade patriarcal na vida das mulheres, abordando temas essenciais como educação, casamento, maternidade e trabalho. Evidencia levantamento sobre a presença e a atuação das mulheres na Câmara dos Deputados. A partir da Ciência da Informação (CI) e dos conceitos ética em informação, transparência e accountability, é demonstrado o quanto o campo tem, ao mesmo tempo, a contribuir e a ganhar com o desenvolvimento de estudos com foco em informação e gênero. Além disso, o trabalho mergulha em temas centrais da CI: a indexação e a recuperação da informação, ao analisar e questionar falhas e dificuldades para a realização de pesquisas no portal da Câmara dos Deputados; e identifica os assuntos e temas predominantes em 621 proposições em tramitação na 55ª Legislatura com os parâmetros de busca contendo o termo indexador “mulher”; fazendo uso da ferramenta VOSviewer nos resultados. |
| Abstract: | The book presents feminist theories and the various implications of patriarchal society for women's lives, addressing key issues such as education, marriage, motherhood and work. It shows a survey on the presence and performance of women in the Chamber of Deputies. Using Information Science (IS) and the concepts of information ethics, transparency and accountability, it shows how much the field has to contribute and gain from the development of studies focusing on information and gender. In addition, the work delves into central themes of IC: indexing and information retrieval, by analyzing and questioning flaws and difficulties in carrying out searches on the Chamber of Deputies portal; and identifies the predominant subjects and themes in 621 proposals being processed in the 55th Legislature with search parameters containing the index term "woman"; using the VOSviewer tool in the results. |
