| Abstract: | A análise de textura é uma ferramenta promissora capaz de extrair dados quantitativos das imagens digitais, com o objetivo de identificar características imperceptíveis ao olho humano. É amplamente utilizada em diferentes áreas, como processamento de imagens médicas, visão computacional e análise de materiais. No contexto odontológico e médico, essa técnica permite avaliar ossos e tecidos através de imagens radiográficas, tomográficas, ressonância magnética e ultrassonografia. Sendo assim, este e-book tem o propósito de auxiliar futuras pesquisas para a obtenção de dados confiáveis para serem utilizados como suporte ao diagnóstico. |
| Abstract: | Texture analysis is a promising tool capable of extracting quantitative data from digital images, with the aim of identifying characteristics imperceptible to the human eye. It is widely used in different areas, such as medical image processing, computer vision and material analysis. In the dental and medical context, this technique allows the evaluation of bones and tissues through radiographic, tomographic, magnetic resonance and ultrasound images. Therefore, this e-book aims to assist future research in obtaining reliable data to be used as diagnostic support. |
