| Abstract: | Nada poderia desapontar mais um historiador do que ver seu trabalho sendo usado por negadores do Holocausto. Mas o que podemos aprender com isso? Vamos destacar alguns reflexos do pós-modernismo nos estudos da História Antiga e da Arqueologia, oferecendo algumas considerações sobre relativismos, o direito de escolha e o dever de engajamento que se espera de um historiador em sua sagrada missão de contestar o conservadorismo e resistir ao status quo. |
| Abstract: | Nothing could disappoint more an historian than perceive his work is being used by Holocaust deniers. But what can we learn from this? We aim to highlight some reflections on postmodernism in the studies of Ancient History and Archeology, offering some insights about relativisms, the right of choice and the engagement duty expected from the historian in his sacred mission to defy conservatism and resisting the status quo. |
