| Abstract: | A presente transcrição faz parte da trajetória polissêmica de Josué Apolônio de Castro (1908-1973), uma das personalidades investigadas pelo projeto de pesquisa “A UFRJ e a ditadura civil-militar (1964-1985): lugares de memória e trajetórias”, vinculado à Divisão de Memória Institucional (DMI) do Sistema de Bibliotecas e Informação (SiBI) da UFRJ. O projeto visa reconstruir a trajetória dos docentes da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) cassados pelo regime ditatorial brasileiro. O objetivo desta transcrição é apresentar a visão do jovem Castro, então concluinte do curso de Medicina pela Universidade do Rio de Janeiro (URJ), a respeito de temas vislumbrados após uma viagem internacional, como, por exemplo, ibero-americanismo, jornalismo, literatura e ciência na América Latina, em um foco comparativo entre as realidades brasileira, argentina e uruguaia. A entrevista está armazenada na Hemeroteca Digital da Fundação Biblioteca Nacional e foi transcrita por um dos integrantes do projeto, com auxílio da coordenadora da ação. |
| Abstract: | This transcript is part of the polysemic tra-jectory of Josué Apolônio de Castro (1908-1973), one of the personalities investigated by the research project “UFRJ and the civil--military dictatorship (1964-1985): places of memory and trajectories”, linked to the Institutional Memory Division (DMI) of the Library and Information System (SiBI) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The project aims to analyze the trajectory of UFRJ professors who were expelled during the Brazilian dictatorial regime. The objec-tive of this transcription is to present the vi-sion of the young Castro, then completing the medical course at the University of Rio de Janeiro (URJ), currently UFRJ, regarding themes envisioned after an international trip, such as, for example, Ibero America-nism, journalism, literature and science in Latin America, in a comparative focus be-tween the Brazilian, Argentinean and Uru-guayan realities. The interview is stored in the National Library Foundation’s Digital Hemeroteca and was transcribed by one of the project’s members, with the help of the action coordinator. |
