Abstract

The thirty-second edition of the Academic Dentistry Journey of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (JAO UFRJ) reaffirms its commitment to the promotion of scientific knowledge, academic integration, and the appreciation of free and public higher education. Carefully organized by the Tutorial Education Program (PET) Dentistry UFRJ, together with a committee composed of faculty and student representatives, the event constitutes a significant milestone in the institution’s academic calendar, reflecting the dedication and involvement of the entire School of Dentistry. Free of charge and held annually, the Conference has consolidated itself as a privileged space for the dissemination and exchange of knowledge, strengthening dialogue among students, professors, researchers, and professionals in the field. By providing a fertile environment for networking and technical-scientific development, the event makes a significant contribution to the academic and professional training of its participants. This year’s edition was enriched by a comprehensive and carefully structured program, consisting of four pre-events, three symposia, fifteen courses, four hands-on practical activities, and a meeting of UFRJ’s academic leagues. The engagement of 28 sponsors demonstrates external recognition of the event’s relevance, which also featured the presence of 35 guest speakers and the support of 36 faculty evaluators. In total, 187 scientific papers were submitted, 39 of which received honorable mention, attesting to the excellence of the academic production presented. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this conference — speakers, evaluators, sponsors, collaborators, members of the organizing committee, the school administration, and above all, the participants, whose presence and enthusiasm brought vitality and meaning to the event. We also highlight the importance of these proceedings, which bring together the abstracts of the submitted works, eternalizing the knowledge shared and strengthening the scientific memory of our institution.
