| Abstract: | A coleção "Metamorfose-se" é composta por seis cartilhas educativas voltadas para mulheres em situação de violência de gênero. Com linguagem acessível e fundamentação legal e social, o material tem como objetivo principal informar, acolher e orientar mulheres sobre os seus direitos, as formas de violência previstas em lei, o ciclo da violência e as redes de apoio disponíveis. As cartilhas abordam desde os tipos de violência até a legislação vigente, passando por estratégias de enfrentamento e serviços de proteção, com atenção específica também à realidade de mulheres trans. A iniciativa é fruto do projeto de extensão “Atendimento odontológico a mulheres em situação de violência de gênero: Projeto Metamorfose”, desenvolvido na Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), e representa uma ação concreta de promoção da saúde integral, da cidadania e dos direitos humanos, alinhada aos princípios da universidade pública e da extensão universitária crítica. |
| Abstract: | The "Metamorfose-se" collection consists of six educational booklets designed for women experiencing gender based violence. Using accessible language and grounded in legal and social frameworks, the material aims to inform, support, and guide women regarding their rights, the legally recognized forms of violence, the cycle of abuse, and available support services. The booklets cover a wide range of topics, from identifying abuse to understanding current legislation and accessing protection networks, including a dedicated focus on the specific rights of transgender women. This initiative is part of the extension project "Dental Care for Women in Situations of Gender-Based Violence: Projeto Metamorfose", developed at the School of Dentistry of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The collection stands as a concrete action for the promotion of comprehensive health, citizenship, and human rights, in alignment with the values of public education and socially engaged university extension. |
