A história da matemática na formação docente e os movimentos rígidos realizados por máquinas matemáticas

Abstract

In this work we present an overview of the curricular guidelines in the scope of the insertion of the history of Mathematics in the curricula of the initial formation courses of Mathematics teachers, also approaching the reflections of some educators on the subject. Along with this, we focused on the study of some historical machines that trace pairs of figures related by rigid movements of the plane, and then we carried out a study of the isometries describing them in a synthetic way and using, in some types, the concept of orientation, without the vector structure We end with the presentation of some conic tracers, motivated by the historical importance of research on such machines.
