| Abstract: | Verificação experimental da teoria existente sobre vibração paramétrica de uma viga sujeita a uma carga axial de compressão P, menor que a carga crítica de flambagem, e por um momento torçor periódico aplicado em uma de suas extremidades, da forma T = T₀ + T₁ cos Ω t, sendo os parâmetros T₀ , T₁ e Ω independentes entre si. As regiões de instabilidade elastodinâmica, levantadas experimentalmente para diversos valores da carga de compressão, e com as condições de vínculo bi-engastada à flexão e engastada à torção, são comparadas com os resultados teóricos. |
| Abstract: | Experimental investigation of parametric resonance of a bar subjected to an axial compressive force P, smaller than the buckling load and to an oscillating torque of the type T = T₀ + T₁1 cos Ω t, , where T₀, T₁ e Ω are independent pameters. The regions of elastodynamic instability are determined experimentally for a bar fixed in flexure at both ends and fixed-free in torsion, for various values of the axial compression. The results are compared with those of an existing theory. |
