| Abstract: | Inicialmente procuram-se rever os conceitos básicos do cálculo estrutural na fase plástica, prosseguindo com suas vantagens e depois com alguns métodos de resolução. Daí em diante começa-se estudo da Acomodação Estrutural. Mostram-se os ensaios executados por NEAL e SYMONDS em pórticos metálicos, e em seguida se demonstra o teorema da acomodação sob dois ângulos: momentos e tensões residuais. Finalmente tecem-se conclusões sobre os métodos de cálculo plástico levando-se em conta o teorema da acomodação. Como apêndice inclui-se o cálculo plástico aplicado ao concreto armado, nas apresentações de BAKER e de MACCHI. |
| Abstract: | In this work, the basic concepts related to the plastic design of structures are reviewed. The advantages and some methods of the plastic design are presented. The shake-down problem is studied. The tests of metalic frames carried out by NEAL and SYMONDS are shown and the shake-down theorem is proved, in terms of residual bending moments and residual stresses. Conclusions about the plastic design, taking into account the shake-down theorem, are given. The plastic design of reinforced concrete, according to BAKER and MACCHI, is also commented. |
