ALBA-TCP: integração energética e participação popular

Abstract

With the aim of initiating a study on the energy integration proposed by the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - ALBA-TCP Peoples Trade Treaty, trying to identify elements that could point out new paths to the social transformations sought by all the fighters and fighters of our continent, is that I set out to write this short article. I declare that this is an initial study that must be deepened, and serves as a stimulus, especially to the Social Movements that have in the theme of Energy one of its points of study, political proposition and social struggle throughout America. In the course of the text we present a brief history and contextualization of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Treaty of Peoples Trade, ALBA - TCP, we seek in the following moment to rescue some elements that we have studied in recent years mainly from the contribution of the Marxist analyzes of the energy industry developed by Professor Dorival Gonçalves in his PhD Thesis by USP-SP. Next we will observe some actions that are being carried out in the ambit of the so called energy integration by the signatory governments of ALBA - TCP and in particular observations on the energy treaty of ALBA - TCP signed in 2007, finally to observe some elements of the process of popular participation in ALBA - TCP with an emphasis on the energy issue.
