| Abstract: | As vanguardas artísticas do início do século XX situaram o problema da ressignificação do olhar como tarefa de revisão da racionalidade ocidental. O presente artigo visa estabelecer um diálogo entre perspectivas elaboradas por pensadores e artistas ligados ao surrealismo, procurando situar seus pressupostos filosóficos e elementos estéticos que serviram de base para os esforços de radicalização de certas expressões artísticas contemporâneas, cujas investidas sobre o corpo reclamam novos estatutos de visualidade. |
| Abstract: | The artistic vanguards of the early twentieth century addressed the problem of reframing of vision as a significant task of revision of Western rationality. This article aims to establish a dialogue between perspectives developed by thinkers and artists linked to surrealism, trying to situate its philosophical presuppositions and aesthetic elements that formed the basis for radicalization efforts of certain contemporary artistic expressions, whose insights on the body have demanded new status of visuality. |
