dc.description.abstractThe present work deals with a rural settlement in former lands of INCRA (National Institute of Agrarian Reform) destined to the agrarian reform in the rural area of ​​the municipality of Cachoeiras do Macacu, RJ. It was verified the progressive sale of the plots by the peasants contemplated with land, and the transformation of minifundios into large latifundia, verifying the abandonment of the countryside and the rural activities by the peasants.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho se ocupa de um assentamento rural em antigas terras do INCRA (Instituto Nacional de Reforma Agrária) destinadas à reforma agrária na área rural do município de Cachoeiras do Macacu, RJ. Constatou-se a progressiva venda dos lotes, por parte dos camponeses contemplados com terras, e a transformação de minifúndios em grandes latifúndios verificando-se o abandono do campo e das atividades rurais pelos camponeses.pt_BR
