| Abstract: | O trabalho objetiva analisar as transformações ocorridas no bairro de São Cristóvão, tentando identificar, com narrativas históricas, as transformações do uso do solo através da cartografia urbana, começando pela fundação da cidade, no século XVI, seu desenvolvimento com a chegada da família real e sua instalação em São Cristóvão, até os dia atuais. Cogitamos com esse estudo, mostrar através da comparação e uso dos mapas históricos de vários períodos cronológicos, a alteração do perfil do bairro apontando diferentes usos da terra. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this work is to analyze the transformations in the neighborhood of São Cristóvão, trying to identify, with historical narratives, the transformations of land use through urban cartography, beginning with the foundation of the city in the 16th century, its development with the arrival of the royal family and its installation in São Cristóvão to the present day. With this study, we show, through the comparison and use of historical maps of various chronological periods, the alteration of the profile of the neighborhood, pointing out different uses of the land. |
