| Abstract: | O trabalho é uma análise que agrega a importância do estudo de documentos cinematográficos para o avanço da pesquisa sobre o espaço urbano. Busca demonstrar de como é possível fundamentar este método, na medida em que o uso de documentação visual se faz presente nos mais diversos trabalhos de pesquisas na área de ciências humanas. Denota a relação que se faz dos acervos visuais com a representação do espaço e suas consequências. Complementando a análise, três bancos de imagens cinematográficas distintas com filmes de cinema brasileiros, fragmentos de reportagem da Tv Tupi e uma seleção de cinejornais da Agência nacional foram utilizadas para comparação prática das questões propostas. |
| Abstract: | The work is an analysis that adds the importance of the study of cinematographic documents for the advancement of the research on the urban space. It tries to demonstrate how it is possible to base this method, in that the use of visual documentation is present in the most diverse researches in the area of human science. It denotes the relation that is made of visual collections with the representation of space and its consequences. Complementing the analysis, three banks of distinctive cinematographic images with Brazilian cinema films, fragments of Tv Tupi reporting and a selection of national agency films were used for practical comparison of the proposed issues. |
