Abstract:	O presente documento relata os resultados preliminares da pesquisa realizada sobre a promoção imobiliária na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Pretende estudar um grupo de agentes que intervém de maneira decisiva no desenvolvimento espacial da cidade: os incorporadores. Estes agentes, com efeito, atuando nos mercados fundiário e imobiliário, jogam um importante papel na formação e renovação do espaço urbano.
Abstract:	This document reports the preliminary results of the survey carried out on real estate development in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It intends to study a group of agents that intervene decisively in the spatial development of the city: the incorporators. These agents, acting in the land and real estate markets, play an important role in the formation and renovation of the urban space.
