| Abstract: | Apresenta a aplicação do método magnetotelúrico para caracterização estrutural de bacias Subandinas. A primeira parte contém um estudo sob todos os aspectos geológicos da Bacia Madre de Dios situada na Bolívia e no Peru. A segunda parte contém uma descrição dos fundamentos do método eletromagnético magnetotelúrico. Na terceira parte será apresentado um estudo de caso baseado em um trabalho anterior, referente à aplicação do método magnetotelúrico na Bacia de Cinturões de Cavalgamento do Sul da Bolívia, assim como uma breve descrição da geologia dessa bacia. Uma aplicação semelhante na Bacia Madre de Dios será sugerida. |
| Abstract: | ln this work the application of the magnetotelluric method will be presented in the context of the structural characterization of Sub-Andean basins. At first part the Madre de Dios Basin situated in Bolivia and Peru is studied over all its geological aspects. At the second part a description of the magnetotelluric method fundamentais is presented. At the third part it will be presented a case study based on a previous work, about the application of the magnetotelluric method on the Thrust Belt Basin of Southem Bolivia, as well as a short geological description of this basin. A similar application on Madre de Dios basin will be suggested. |
