Abstract
This manual can be used in the classroom as a motivational tool in science education in elementary school. The technique can be carried out as an experimental activity in Chemistry and Biology teaching. In addition to the chemical reactions involved in the process, we can address other topics, such as the ultraviolet index and seasons. We can also address topics related to environmental preservation, such as the reuse of paper (e.g., used coffee filters and tea bags) for printing antitypes. This document presents the process from a historical and technical point of view. We present the step-by-step process for reproducing images using the anthotype technique. The document is complemented with a brief summary of the UV index and seasons.
