The issue of the users of an urban space, the processes of building the image around a place and its confrontation with the discourse of modernity will be the central themes of the work. The theme is intended to be considered in relation to a case study: the residential village of Mambucaba (historic village of Mambucaba), in the locality of Mambucaba, border with the municipality of Parati, 4th district of Angra dos Reis.
