O uso de mídias sociais por bibliotecas e suas aplicações: relato de experiência da Biblioteca Leopoldo Nachbin da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

It reports the applicability of social media used by the Leopoldo Nachbin Library of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. For data collection, a bibliographic research and the elaboration of a questionnaire were carried out to obtain information about the use of social media related to the library. It was found that Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are the social media used by the Leopoldo Nachbin Library. It concludes that it is relevant that libraries make use of social media to share scientific information as well as to increase their visibility to users.
