| Abstract: | A influência da Internet sobre a sociedade e as conseqüências sobre a vida das pessoas é fato. Várias mudanças ocorreram a partir do surgimento da rede mundial de computadores em vários segmentos de atividade humana, inclusive na educação. A Internet faz parte da realidade social de muitos dos nossos alunos. A cada dia ela tem envolvido número maior de jovens através de suas características e ferramentas atrativas. Esta monografia tem por finalidade propor aos educadores uma reflexão acerca de como as práticas escolares podem responder às necessidades da sociedade contemporânea em relação ao uso da Internet como apoio pedagógico, que pode proporcionar, quando devidamente utilizado, um saber contextualizado e amplo para o processo cognitivo de cada educando. Tal entendimento pode ser gerado também a partir dos momentos de formação continuada quando educadores têm a oportunidade de estudar, aprofundando conhecimentos, ampliando sabres e tecendo novas práticas através das quais a Internet venha a ser trabalhada de maneira significativa e que ajude a atender às expectativas cognitivas e sociais dos nossos alunos. |
| Abstract: | The influence of the Internet in society and the consequences on people's lives is a fact. Several changes occurred after the setup of the global network of computers in various segments of human activity, including education. Internet is part of the social reality of many of our students. Every day it has involved more young people through their features and attractive tools. This monograph is intended to offer educators a reflection on how school practices can meet the needs of contemporary society in relation to Internet use as teaching aids, which can provide when properly used, a broad and contextual knowledge to the cognitive process of each student. This understanding may also be generated from the times of continuing education when educators have the opportunity to study, deepening knowledge, and weaving new practices where the Internet can be used in a meaningful way and to help meet the cognitive and social expectations of our students. |
