A enfermagem e a linha de cuidado da medicina fetal à unidade de terapia intensiva neonatal: novos horizontes

Abstract

This project derived from experiences during the multidisciplinary residency in Perinatal Health at Maternidade Escola - UFRJ. The same was guided by the following question: What are the role of nurses in patient care line (mother-child) connecting fetal medicine and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit? And, as a general goal, it seeks to "draw up a line of care in clinical management of Nurse connecting Fetal Medicine Clinic and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the maintenance of perinatal health." Methodology: as research design, we use a qualitative, descriptive approach. As theoretical background, research was carried out in electronic databases, such as PubMed, Scielo and LILACS-BVS. Usingthedescriptors: Enfermagem (nursing), Linha de cuidado (Linecare), Enfermagem obstétrica (ObstetricsNursing), Enfermagem neonatal (Neonatal Nursing), Perinatologia (Perinatology), Assistência Pré-natal (Prenatalcare). Made in Portuguese and English, considering the period of last 25 years. Were considered full works, performing as theses, monographs, articles and books. They were also used some societiesportals, institutes and national and international institutions. As a technique for data collection, were used action research (pesquisa-ação). The subjects was pregnant women in monitoring the pre-natal high-risk clinic concurrently with the fetal medicine clinic. The inclusion criteria were:gestational age ≥ 32 weeks; having closed diagnosis of maternal complications and / or fetaladnexal abnormalities uncompensated that could lead this fetus to need hospitalization in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at birth. Exclusion criteria were: fetal death; abortion (retained); complications (anomalies) maternal and / or fetal-adnexal with healthy fetuses and among others, that even though complex situations and high-risk, no evidence in the literature showing necessary to present the same to such an environment (NICU) and can be accompanied with expectant conduct. We used thematic analysis technique.
