Mães adolescentes e seus bebês prematuros: o processo de tornar-se sujeito

Abstract

This work aims to understand from the subjectivity of the teenage mothers, the interactions they establish with their babies premature infants in an intensive care unit; it is also proposed to reflect about action strategies that can go beyond the moment of hospitalization, aiming at the production of a field of affectation that will allow the baby to come to the subject condition. We know that affective exchanges carried out early in life are determinants for the psychic development of the baby. It is necessary that the mothers identify with their child to invest it narcissistically, favoring the emergence of their subjectivity. The study was carried out in a Neonatal ICU of a hospital in state network emergency. The methodology used was qualitative, with participant observation and semi-directed interviews. The theoretical framework used for the reflections was Psychoanalysis, Developmental Psychology and to Clinical Psychology. Through observation and analysis of the interviews, it was found that the teenage mothers do not usually abandon their babies in the ICU in the period in which they are discharged. However, sometimes its presence is marked by a passivity and alienation that can produce a risk for the baby. IT'S I need adolescents to feel supported and cared for so that they can take ownership of their baby, investing affectively, directing them words that place you within your own history, building the bonds necessary initials for the process of becoming a subject.
