Conselho tutelar: possibilidades e limites na assistência às famílias

Abstract

present work has as a proposal, to try to score, or rather, to bring to reflection on certain issues that permeate the family in contemporary times. Or that is, it proposes to sharpen the reflection on the structuring of the family today, the 'metamorphosis' which he has been going through and, above all, to reflect on the way in which the professionals who work daily with it have been noticing the alluded 'metamorphosis', as well as the professional position adopted in face of these changes. The space used to carry out the quantitative and qualitative research was 5 Madureira Guardianship Council (CT-10). We entered the field, with the hypothesis that the majority public served in the space would be women heads of families, or as denominated by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), “families whose reference persons are women”. However, this hypothesis could not be validated by quantitative research, because when we got there there was no material about the profile of the population served, nor, material that had made a cut of gender in its analysis. Through quantitative research it was possible to perceive the percentage of men and women attended in the space on screen, as there is in it, a book with the population entry diary. As a result, we redirect our object to research, which now becomes, as previously suggested, the family contemporary, and the existing correlation between it and the gender category. We noticed that the change of the initial object was being processed, as that the research was being developed. We conceive that the study of the category family would provide a richer contribution, while within the same the changes pointed out by the scholars would be contemplated, among them, the increase in “families whose people of reference are women”, this being the 'metamorphosis' that we once referred to and that we aim to address in a succinct. We consider that the current object can provide the possibility of showing two situations: The first concerns the presence of the gender relation in the constitution of the family, since the woman, even today, has been called excessive responsibility for the family. The second situation, which we mentioned, is the fact that the present research tries to reflect on what theoretically has been thought about the family and the usual practice with it. Are both theory and practice aware of the changes that the family has been going through? Has the theory, in fact, been able to capture the dynamics of professional daily life? And practice, in turn, has it been able to materialize the advances produced by theory? These are questions that we will try to answer in the course of this work.
