Abstract:	Apresenta, formalmente, o problema geral da Dinâmica de Corpos Elásticos, e estudam-se os problemas de resposta e estabilidade dinâmica de cascas girando em torno do eixo longitudinal, sujeitas a um carregamento que não acompanha o movimento de rotação rígida da casca. Através de uma expansão em série de Fourier na variável circunferencial, mostra-se que este tipo de carregamento gera excitações periódicas sobre a casca. Usando aproximações de diferença finita no tempo e de elementos finitos na direção longitudinal obtêm-se soluções transientes lineares e não lineares. Determina-se a solução periódica correspondente ao regime permanente e estuda-se a estabilidade infinitesimal desta solução, derivando-se, explicitamente, a primeira aproximação das regiões de ressonância paramétrica.
Abstract:	The general problem of Dynamics of Elastic Bodies is presented, and the problems of dynamic response and stability of rotating axisyrnmetric shells, under a non-rotating load, are studied. Using a Fourier series expansion for the circunferential variable it is shown that this load generates a periodic excitation on the shell. Linear and non-linear transient responses are then obtained through a finite difference approximation in the time domain anda finite element discretization in the longitudinal direction. The steady-state periodic solution is determined. Its infinitesimal stability is studied and the first approximation of parametric resonance regions is explicity derived.
