Abstract:	Este trabalho apresenta o resultado de uma série de provas de carga ''in situ'' com placas circulares de pequeno diâmetro, enterradas a pequenas profundidades, buscando observar a influência do diâmetro e profundidade da placa e diâmetro da escavação sobre a capacidade de carga ao arrancamento. Objetivou-se também testar a validade da aplicabilidade de alguns métodos teóricos aos solos tropicais uma vez que eles foram desenvolvidos em solos de clima e formação diferentes.
Abstract:	This report presents the results of a set of in situ tests with small depth, circular plates, buried at shallow embedment, searching for the influence of the diameter and dept of the plate and diameter of the pit on the uplift load carrying capacity. It was also aimed to test the feasibility of some theoretical methods on tropical soils since they were developed in soils from different climate and formation.
