O Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida em São Gonçalo na construção do espaço urbano: um estudo de caso do Conjunto Bela Vida I

Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze the recent Brazilian Housing Policy (20032012), from the execution of the Minha Casa Minha Vida in São Gonçalo (MCMV), their design limits and possibilities. The methodology is a literature search on the topic and a field survey, given that the right to housing should be ensured by the urban development policy, the prospect of offering civility to city residents, enabling access to urban land, housing dignified and sustainable. The central focus of the research is to ascertain the situation of the residents of the condominium Beautiful Life I, located in the neighborhood of the Arsenal, the city of São Gonçalo, in order to meet the issue urban-city housing in the context of the periphery of the metropolitan area Rio de Janeiro and promote reflection on the care Housing Policy. Thus, it appears that the housing planning São Gonçalo has prioritized housing production, at the expense of the recovery of the stock of dwellings in the slums, so the county should proceed with regard to urban development policy. Through research, it can be seen, although the condo residents Beautiful Life I live in the urbanized area of the city, do not enjoy the benefits of urbanization.
