| Abstract: | O presente trabalho dedica-se a análise do papel da Avenida Brasil no acesso as possibilidades que a vida urbana moderna pode oferecer, a se saber: circular, trabalhar, habitar e recrear. Tem-se por objetivo elucidar como o acelerado crescimento urbano da área metropolitana fluminense, no tem sido acompanhado pela adequação da infraestrutura viria existente e por seguinte, o transporte de massa incapaz de suprir s necessidades vigentes. Resultado disso, que parcela da população carioca e fluminense tem seu poder de mobilidade reduzido e potencializado seu processo de excluso social. Para a realização deste trabalho houve inicialmente uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o assunto, no que tange aos conceitos de espaço urbano, processos espaciais e seus agentes modeladores, acessibilidade e mobilidade. Em seguida, foi feito um histórico da Avenida Brasil, apontamento dos problemas hoje existentes e dos investimentos contemporâneos na via. |
| Abstract: | This article is dedicated to analyzing the role of Avenida Brasil access to the possibilities that modern urban life can offer, you need to know: move, work, live and recreate. It has been designed to elucidate how the rapid urban growth of the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro, has not been accompanied by the adequacy of existing road infrastructure and following, the mass transport is unable to meet existing needs. Result is that portion of the population of the city of Rio de Janeiro and the State of Rio de Janeiro has its power reduced mobility and strengthened the process of social exclusion. For this work there was initially a literature review on the subject, with respect to the concepts of urban space, spatial processes and their modeling agents, accessibility and mobility. Then was made a historic Avenida Brasil, pointing the problems that exist today and investment in the contemporary way. |
