| Abstract: | Tendo como pano de fundo a região central da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, o trabalho em questão tem por finalidade abordar a problemática da população em situação de rua traçando seu perfil e suas estratégias de abrigo e permanência nas ruas, bem como as formas como são tratados perante uma política pública municipal centrada na "ordem urbana". Buscou-se entender a relação do trabalho informal exercido por essa população com as estratégias de sobrevivência e as formas de agregação dos grupos nos diversos pontos do centro da cidade. |
| Abstract: | Based on the central region of the city of Rio de Janeiro, the purpose of this study is to address the problem of the population living on the streets by outlining their profile and strategies for sheltering and staying on the streets, as well as the ways they are municipal public policy centered on the "urban order". It was sought to understand the relation of the informal work exerted by this population with the strategies of survival and the forms of aggregation of the groups in the diverse points of the center of the city. |
