| Abstract: | O trabalho visa realizar uma leitura crítica sobre os projetos urbanos elaborados pela prefeitura da cidade do Rio de Janeiro para a sua área central a partir dos anos 1990. Analisa-se o discurso do novo paradigma do planejamento urbano orientado pela criação de políticas urbanas baseadas no empreendedorismo e na criação dos espaços de memória da cidade, identificando o contexto de seu surgimento e os atores responsáveis pela sua difusão em escala planetária. |
| Abstract: | The paper aims to perform a critical reading on the urban projects elaborated by the city of Rio de Janeiro for its central area from the 1990s. The discourse of the new paradigm of urban planning guided by the creation of urban policies based on the entrepreneurship and the creation of spaces of memory of the city, identifying the context of its emergence and the actors responsible for its diffusion in planetary scale. |
