Abstract:	Este relatório e o primeiro produto do convênio firmado entre o Ministério da Ação Social e o Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano e Regional, da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, com o objetivo de favorecer a cooperação nas áreas de pesquisa, assessoria técnica e intercâmbio de produção técnico-científica, no tocante às questões de políticas públicas, particularmente na área de desenvolvimento e promoção social, migrações internas e pobreza urbana.
Abstract:	This report is the first product of the agreement signed between the Ministry of Social Action and the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning and Research of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of promoting cooperation in the areas of research, technical advice and exchange of technical-scientific production, with regard to public policy issues, particularly in the area of social development and promotion, internal migration and urban poverty.
