Abstract:	O trabalho visa à compreensão da forma como se distribuem espacialmente os investimentos em saneamento básico, pelo Programa de Despoluição da baía de Guanabara - PDBG, à luz dos princípios da justiça ambiental, já que uma das características das politicas de infraestrutura no brasil tem sido a desigualdade espacial de investimentos. Com o emprego de geoprocessamento foi possível confeccionar mapas temáticos, permitindo o cruzamento de informações em um melhor nível de detalhamento, dando assim, condições necessárias para localizar e analisar a distribuição espacial dos investimentos do PDBG comparando, o acesso das diferentes classes sociais aos equipamentos e serviços de saneamento básico.
Abstract:	The paper aims to understand the spatial distribution of investments in basic sanitation, by the Guanabara Bay Clean - up Program - PDBG, in light of the principles of environmental justice, since one of the characteristics of infrastructure policies in Brazil has been the spatial inequality of investments. With the use of geoprocessing, it was possible to create thematic maps, allowing the crossing of information in a better level of detail, thus giving the necessary conditions to locate and analyze the spatial distribution of PDBG investments, comparing the access of different social classes to equipment and basic sanitation services.
