Lugares da memória, lugares da natureza: explorando relações entre educação ambiental e ensino de biologia a partir da produção de narrativas

Abstract

This dissertation explored the use of narratives as a possible course to work Environmental Education in Teaching Biology, based on the relationships between history ans places marked in the memory of the municipality of Guapimirim. It had as transdisciplinary triggers the relation between environmet and society and the connections between history, memory and narratives as a challenge of the Teaching of Biology to respond to the ecological crisis. The study was developed from several moments that included field trips, listening to reports from the collaborators and producing narratives by the students of the Normal Course of the State College Alcindo Guanabara. with the pretension that when experiencing a training that exercised modes of thinking and reflecting on the relations between man and nature, would give the students the opportunity to understand and produce their own identity marked by the experience of the place. The work ends with the production od a digital book entitled: Memory Paths in Teaching Biology, distributed in sessions that address a small autobiography of the collaborators, the proposition of two routes for the field trips that deal with history and memory, the characterization of the places visited from the narratives of the students and a script of the routes made. The book in PDF is available in social networks, and can be used not only by the teachers of this school unit, but for any other that has interest in the study of the place.
