Reflexões sobre a experiência do processo de implementação do curso para gestantes "família grávida" em uma maternidade pública do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

This study, with the aim of discussing the topic of a group of pregnant women, proposed to visualize the guidelines on the topic, through a personal narrative about the multidisciplinary team of a Municipal Maternity Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. This fact is considered as a relevant justification, as it entails possible identification of actions, educational activities, customs, culture, in the ways of seeing care through a Public Health Policy. It is necessary to understand the role of the multidisciplinary team in the management of pregnant women in the prenatal care unit delimited by the study. Another justification is due to the insertion, as a health professional, in an environment of maternal and child care, the Maternity Maria Amélia Buarque de Hollanda, exercising, among its various attributions, the role of multiplier in pregnant women's courses. With regard to the academic area, the research intends to contribute to the teaching of Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing, and to future research in the professional category, with a multidisciplinary interface, supporting the improvement of institutional protocols, and also the discussion on the deepening of the construction of the care as a professional assignment. Based on the foregoing, I suppose that the results of future research may not only contribute to the understanding of the construction of the guidance mechanism for pregnant women and their families as a Nursing action, but also the revalidation of this activity as an attribution of the nurse with the multidisciplinary team.
