Síndrome de alienação parental: refletindo acerca do desafio de superar sua invisibilidade

Abstract

The purpose of the study on screen is to analyze an analysis of the effects caused by Parental Alienation Syndrome (coined by the American psychiatrist Richard Gardner). Bringing its concept, its identification, its consequences and its differentiation from Parental Alienation. We will deepen our reflection with based on a vast bibliography on the subject. On this trail, this phenomenon gains an extra chapter, Law 12318 of 2010 which regulates it, aiming at protection of a greater good: the dignity and protection of children and/or adolescents. Later, we will direct our reflection on the role of Social Work in the context of SAP and, therefore, we will discuss the history of training and development of families to date. Next, we'll look at the importance of the role of the school and the need to train professionals to deal with this issue, highlighting the importance of the commitment of the Social Work professional with actions in this context of power, aiming at a posture of viability and guarantee of the social rights of everyone involved in this scenery.
