| Abstract: | O principal problema abordado neste trabalho e o da determinação das frequências naturais de vibrações transversais de vigas de seção transversal variável segundo Leis polinomiais. São analisados os casos de variação linear e variação parabólica. São determinadas as frequências naturais utilizando-se o método aproximado de Ritz e Rayleigh. Rste mé todo é muito utilizado quando na determinação de autovalores (frequências) e fornece uma convergência extremamente rápida. O modo de tratar o problema, permite a determinação de qualquer frequência natural, mediante um programa automático, tendo em vista que o método foi aplicado considerando-se um número infinito de termos na série solução. |
| Abstract: | This work deals with the problem of the determination of the natural frequencies of transverse vibrations of beams of variable cross section, in particular beams with section heigh varying according to a polynbmial law. Ritz method is used for the determinátion of the natural frequencies, dueto its rapid convergence. The method of treatment of the problem, permits a determination of any of the natural frequencies using automatic programming because it does not limit the number of terms of the serie solution to be used. |
