dc.description.abstract	This work deals with the internal and external anatany of Pomacea lineata (SPIX, 1827). The descriptions and figures of the soft parts and shell, reproductive, digestive, excretory, respiratory, circulatory and nervous systems are given. Microanatomic studies of the male copulatory apparatus were made. The taxonomic problems related to the genus and the family names were pointed out. The shell and the radula are not available features to discriminate the species since the first showed instraspecific variation and the latter is very similar in all the family. Probably, in the male reproductive system are some of the diagnostic features of the species.	en

dc.description.resumo	Neste trabalho é estudada a morfologia interna e externa de Pomacea lineata (SPIX, 1827). São fornecidas descrições do animal, da concha, dos sistemas reprodutor, digestivo, excretor, respiratório, circulatório e nervoso, acompanhadas de desenhos e fotografias. Foram realizados estudos microanatômicos no aparelho copulador masculino. Os problemas taxionômicos que envolvem os nomes de gênero e família foram também discutidos. A conquiliologia revelou variações intraespecíficas e a rádula mostrou-se muito semelhante à das demais espécies conhecidas, não contribuindo, portanto, com caracteres relevantes para a identificação da espécie estudada. No sistema reprodutor masculino encontram-se possivelmente caracteres diagnósticos da espécie.	pt_BR
