Abstract:	Tal estudo pretende, a partir da análise de dados cadastrais e censitários, informar sobre a evolução recente da estrutura fundiária do espaço agrário fluminense. Tal dinâmica será investigada a nível microrregional para o conjunto do Estado. Seu objetivo central consiste na interpretação dos efeitos da modernização agrícola sobre a estrutura fundiária, procurando correlacionar três tipos de fenômenos: a concentração da propriedade, a valorização fundiária e a capitalização da atividade agrícola.l
Abstract:	This study intends, from the analysis of cadastral and census data, to report on the recent evolution of the agrarian space structure in Rio de Janeiro. Such dynamics will be investigated at the micro-regional level for the State as a whole. Its central objective is to interpret the effects of agricultural modernization on the land structure, trying to correlate three types of phenomena: property concentration, land valuation and capitalization of agricultural activity.
